Shahid Kapoor was committed to finishing work on his September release Batti Gul Meter Chalu by mid-June. And this is exactly what the superstar did.
A source says, “Shahid and Shraddha Kapoor were stationed in Tehri, Uttarakhand for their social drama. In order to reach the shoot locations, the actors had to travel by road. Shahid was in a lot of pain. He reportedly had a back nerve impingement for two weeks. And, the doctors who diagnosed his condition asked him to return to Mumbai and rest. However, the Padmaavat actor was committed to finishing the schedule. Hence, he continued shooting with his condition.”
The source adds that Shahid is currently resting it out because he wants his back to heal before he flies overseas for an awards show.
