Shahid Kapoor is 'Jersey' ready; shares a glimpse from his prep

Shahid Kapoor is continuing with the prep of his upcoming film Jersey while shooting for it simultaneously. The actor had wrapped the Uttarakhand schedule a few weeks back and hopped on to his practice session as he plays the role of a cricketer in the film. Shahid has been very active on his Instagram page lately and even shared a photo with wife Mira Rajput as they are missing each other.

Now, Shahid took to his Instagram page and posted a photo from the training session for Jersey. In the photo, he is seen wearing a black T-Shirt and black shorts with black tights. The actor is seen carrying his cricket kit and walking in style while entering the ground. Shahid completed his look with black sunglasses and white sneakers.

He captioned the post stating, "#jersey prep. . . De dhana dhan."

In Jersey, which is the Hindi remake of the Telugu film of the same name, Shahid will be seen alongside the female lead Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Kapur who plays his training coach.

Earlier while talking about working with Shahid in Jersey, Mrunal exclusively told DNA, "I won't stop praising Shahid because he is so fabulous as a performer. Every time he creates magic on screen and I just kind of wonder 'how do you do it?' I make sure to sit in front of the monitor when it's his shot so that I don't miss out on that X factor that he has."
