Ranbir Kapoor is riding high on the success of 'Sanju' these days. Rajkumar Hirani's Sanjay Dutt biopic has ended the dull phase in his career as he his film entered 200 crore club in just 7 days of its release.
Kapoor lad is back in the game and has interesting films lined up for release in the next two years. Ranbir is currently shooting for Ayan Mukerji's 'Brahmastra' and after that will head to the sets of Yash Raj Films' 'Shamshera' which brings him face to face with real-life Sanju on the big screen.
After an intense biopic 'Sanju', Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in the role of a dacoit in 'Shamshera'. In an interview to Deccan Chronicle, the actor said, “It’s definitely a very aggressive, intense and angry character. It is set in the 1800s and it’s about a dacoit tribe who is fighting for their rights and independence.
The film is directed by Karan Malhotra of 'Agneepath' fame and will go on floors at the end of this year. The film also stars Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt in the lead.
Ranbir Kapoor also revealed that Sanjay Dutt will be playing the role of villain in the film and he is looking forward to the collaboration. He said, "It is an exciting space and Sanjay is playing an antagonist. Also, it is a new collaboration for me with Karan Malhotra. I am really looking forward to starting this project."

Apart from the two action-packed films 'Brahmastra' and 'Shamshera', Ranbir Kapoor also has 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety' director Luv Ranjan's film with Ajay Devgn in the pipeline.
