Sidharth Malhotra, who has wrapped up the shoot of Marjaavaan with Student of the Year 2 actress Tara Sutaria, is all set to embark on a new jorney. The actor will now begin shooting for his much anticipated Vikram Batra biopic along with Kiara Advani.
On Thursday, Karan Johar's Dharma Productions made it official that the film based on the true story of Kargil War hero Vikram Batra, has been titled 'Shershaah'. Speculations about the leading lady in the film have been rife for quite sometime. However, it has now been confirmed that Kiara Advani will be starring opposite Sidharth Malhotra in the film.
Karan Johar took to his Twitter account to share the news. He wrote, "Beginning the journey of #Shershaah soon!" Sidharth and Kiara too shared the announcement on social media.

Shershaah is to be directed by Vishnu Vardhaan and the film will soon go on floors.
While Sidharth has been prepping for the film for quite sometime, Kiara has been busy shooting for Good News. She will soon be seen in Kabir Singh along side Shahid Kapoor.
