Shraddha Kapoor races past Alia Bhatt

Shraddha Kapoor, who is currently riding high on the success of her recent outing 'Stree', has left behind her contemporary Alia Bhatt on social media. She recently made 23.7 million followers on Instagram as opposed to 23.6 million followers of Alia Bhatt. Both the girls enjoy better fan following that the likes of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anushka Sharma, Parineeti Chopra and Katrina Kaif. 

Shraddha and Alia may be paly in real life but that doesn't mean they aren't competitive. Their social media competition has always been neck to neck but with the success of 'Stree', Shraddha has beaten Alia. The combined reach of Shraddha on social media is over 51 million, while Alia reportedly stands at 41 million.

The actress has garnered immense appreciation for her portrayal of a small-town-girl so much so that she has now become synonymous with the word 'Stree'. 

Shraddha's incredible fan following is not limited to just social media but the actress is a popular face even in the nooks and corners of the nation. 'Stree' currently stands at the total collection of 111.07 crores and is still running strong at the box office. 

Shraddha is all set to have another big release this Friday with 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu', after which the actress will be seen in the multi-lingual 'Saaho' with Prabhas and Saina Nehwal biopic. Alia Bhatt, on the other hand, is busy shooting for upcoming ventures 'Brahmastra' and 'Kalank'. She also recently signed 'Takht' and 'Sadak 2'
