The Rohit Shetty directorial may have received mixed reviews, but the Box office numbers have another tale to tell. The movie opened to Rs 20.72 crore, smashing records of even Padmaavat. Now the movie has already raked in Rs. 150 crore within a week of its release. Till Thursday, Simmba has managed to collect a total of Rs 150 crore at the box office.

Friday: Rs 20.72 crore

Saturday: Rs 23.33 crore

Sunday: Rs 31.06 crore

Monday: Rs 21.34 crore

Tuesday: Rs 28.19 crore

Wednesday: Rs 14.49 crore

Thursday: Rs 11 crore (Box Office India numbers)

Total: Rs 150 crore

For those who are uninitiated, Simmba is a remake of South hit Temper which had featured superstar Vijay. It's the second (debut) film of Sara Ali Khan, who happens to be Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's daughter. This is the first time that Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty have collaborated for a film. It is also co-incidentally the first time Karan Johar collaborates with them both as a producer.
