Singer Armaan Malik reacts after people confuse him with his namesake Bigg Boss OTT 3 contestant: 'I do not endorse...'
"This situation is hampering my reputation and is turning out to be misleading to so many people who have supported me over the years", wrote singer Armaan Malik.
YouTuber Armaan Malik and his two wives named Payal Malik and Kritika Malik entered the Bigg Boss OTT 3 together. Payal Malik was evicted on the 9th day. In the last two days, Armaan Malik grabbed headlines after he slapped Vishal Pandey in the show for making cheap remarks about her second wife Kritika.
As the YouTuber was slammed for hitting his co-contestant, his namesake singer Armaan Malik has now issued a clarification stating that he has no connections with the Bigg Boss OTT 3 contestant. Taking to his X (previously known as Twitter) account, the singer and musician shared a note and captioned it, "This had to be said."
His note read, "Hi everyone, I’ve been trying to overlook an issue for a while now, but it seems to be getting out of hand at this point and I have to address it. A YouTube creator, earlier known as Sandeep, later changed his name to Armaan Malik and is currently on Big Boss OTT Season 3. This is causing a lot of confusion, with many people mistakenly tagging me and assuming we are the same person."
"I want to be very clear: I have NO connection to this individual and do not endorse him or his lifestyle in any way. This situation is hampering my reputation and is turning out to be misleading to so many people who have supported me over the years. While I can’t stop someone from changing their name and taking up the same as mine, I do request my own community to help me overcome this. Please stop tagging me in posts about anything related to him. Thank you for your understanding and support. Armaan Malik", he concluded.
The singer Armaan Malik has sung many famous songs such as Main Rahoon Ya Na Rahoon, Bol Do Na Zara, Besabriyaan, Naina, Main Hoon Hero Tera, and Tumhe Apna Banane Ka among others. His brother Amaal Malik is a music director and they both are the nephews of Anu Malik.
