Filmmaker Aanand L Rai under his home banner Colour Yellow Productions and Eros International is all geared up to release the much ambitious project Tumbbad along with actor-producer Sohum Shah on October 12, this year. Recently, Sanju director Rajkumar Hirani took to Twitter to praise the film. The director who has a restricted social media presence went out of the way to hail the Sohum Shah starrer.
Rajkumar Hirani wrote, "Just saw an early screening of TUMBBAD. I have not seen a more visually stunning film in a long time. Great camera work, art, costumes. And @s0humshah you are outstanding in the film!"
Colour Yellow is known for content-driven films and stories that touch chords with the masses. With Tumbbad, the production house takes a leap with a genre-defining, visually stunning film.
Says producer Aanand L Rai, "Very excited to release Tumbaad this year. Other than the great storytelling, Tumbbad is an audio-visual experience on the big screen. Personally, I feel it’s a genre-defining film for our audience."
Sohum Shah shared, "Making Tumbbad has been a six-year long rollercoaster of a ride. Aanand ji’s has only brought more energy and enthusiasm in me. You feel at home when you are with him because he speaks from his heart. He and his team has given Tumbbad love and care just like a family."
Tumbbad is set to release on October 12, 2018.
