Finally! The D-day has arrived and Sonam Kapoor is now officially Sonam Kapoor-Ahuja (even on her Instagram page). The gorgeous actress got married to her long time beau Anand Ahuja in an intimate traditional Sikh ceremony on Tuesday at her aunt's heritage bungalow Rockdale. Sonam looked beyond beautiful in a red Anuradha Vakil lehenga. Post the wedding rituals, it was time for the newly weds to exchange garlands aka jaimala and that's when the bride's goofy side was captured in a video that has now gone viral.
What happened was, Sonam and Anand were to put the garland on each other. Sonam is given the garland while Anand was still waiting for his, when somebody asks who'll go first. On hearing this, Sonam didn't even wait for Anand to get his garland and jumped with joy saying, "Me" and puts it on him quickly. Right after that, Sonam's kaleere get tangled on Anand's bandhgala and Sonam quickly says, "Babu sorry". How cute is that!
Somebody from those present, says to Sonam, "Babu nahi, aap kaise ho, 'aap' bolo, chalo". Sonam then says 'aap aap' and asks her mom Suntia to help. After that, Anand also puts the garland on Sonam and we also get to witness how protective he is of Sonam. These two are oh-so-adorable!

Post the wedding, the newly weds cut a quirky cake which was followed by lunch. In the evening, the couple will throw a post-wedding bash for their near and dear ones and friends from the industry.
