Millions of people on Thursday celebrated the festival of lights, Diwali. B-town celebs including Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Karan Johar, and Kajol also wished their fans on social media, they have been sharing Diwali pictures on Instagram. Now, Filmmaker Tahira Kashyap dropped some family photos from her Diwali celebrations on social media.
Tahira posted a family photo in matching outfits on Instagram. Sharing the picture, she wrote, “Bahot saara pyaar sabko, All of us.” In no time, celebrities and fans started commenting on her picture. Television actress Nisha Rawal wrote, “such an awesome picture, Happy Hapyy to you too.” Referring to the picture, one of her fans wrote, “What a beautiful pic this is…god bless u all…this definitely needs to framed.”
Her brother-in-law Aparshakti Khurana, who is a famous Bollywood actor, also shared the same picture with the caption, “Straight out of Sooraj Barjatya’s set, A very Happy Diwali to you and yours from me and mine.”

Earlier, Tahira Kashyap posted pictures with husband Ayushmann Khurrana, son Virajveer on the occasion of the auspicious festival that symbolises the victory of lights over darkness. While sharing a picture with her son, she wrote, “Always looking out for each other, Happy Diwali to you and yours.” Sharing pictures with Ayushmann Khurrana, the filmmaker-writer mentioned, “Happy Diwali everyone, My favorite festival! Hence bombarding with pictures and love.”
In the pictures, Tahira can be seen wearing a white saree with shimmery details, while Ayushmann wore a black kurta with a floral black shawl over his shoulders. Meanwhile, Virajveer can be seen wearing a green and brown outfit.
While posting her solo picture, Tahira wrote, “Happy Diwali. This Diwali I have realised too many things…topping the list is my love for sarees! In this stunning one by my gorgeous friend @manishmalhotra05.” Bollywood actress Twinkle Khanna commented on her picture and wished her, “Happy Diwali”.
For the unversed, Tahira and Ayushmann Khurrana got married in the year 2008. They are blessed with a son and a daughter. According to Hindustan Times, on their anniversary last year, Ayushmann stated, “It was in 2001. We were preparing for our board exams. At 1.48 AM I’d confessed my feelings over the phone. Bryan Adams was playing on my stereo. Inside Out was the song. It’s been 19 years with this goofball.”
On the work front, Tahira recently released her book titled ‘The 7 Sins of Being A Mother’. However, Ayushmann will be seen in the movies ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’, ‘Anek’, ‘Doctor G’ and ‘Action Hero’.
