Here's the latest update on Tanushree Dutta, Nana Patekar case

After recording her statement at Oshiwara police on Wednesday for more than four hours, former actress Tanushree Dutta later registered FIR against actor Nana Patekar, choreographer Ganesh Acharya, movie maker Rakesh Sarang and film producer Samee Siddiqui. No arrests have been made yet but the police claims to intensify the probe for the same.

On Wednesday late evening, Dutta approached the Oshiwara police for the second time to record her statement but later, the police registered the formal complaint. Dutta was supposed to record her statement on Wednesday but she did not turn up. When approached by media for her version, Dutta refused to speak and later.

Her defence advocate Nitin Satpute while briefing media said, "The police after recording the statement took the action and the statement was recorded in English language as it is more comfortable and understood by the complainant so it took much time. The police have lodged a complaint under section 354 and 509 (outraging women's modesty) of the Indian Penal Code and further action shall be taken by them in the case."

As per the sources, the allegations hurled in the FIR is the same as the statement recorded by Dutta few days back against Patekar, Siddique, Acharya and Sarang.
