Actress Tanushree Dutta who has been hailing allegations against Bollywood actor Nana Patekar, choreographer Ganesh Acharya, film producer Samee Siddiqui, film director Rakesh Sarang and MNS party workers for sexual harassment has lodged a formal complaint against those mentioned at Oshiwara police station on Saturday night.
Dutta has alleged that Patekar harassed her sexually during the making of a film in 2008 and others also tried to do it in similar ways long back. She has also alleged that during the shoot of the movie, Patekar, Acharya, Siddiqui and Sarang deliberately outraged her modesty. The police after lodging the complaint has claimed to investigate the case rigorously.
"The complainant has sought police action and has claimed that her undue advantage was taken. A formal complaint has been registered and investigation of the case is underway," said Assistant Commissioner of Police, Oshiwara division, Rajendra Chavan.
