At a time when Bollywood actors like Priyanka Chopra, Farhan AKhtar, Swara Bhasker and Richa Chadha among others have shown solidarity with Tanushree Dutta, looks like there are a few actors who aren't even aware of the controversy at all. The Aashiq Banaya Aapne actress has accused veteran actor Nana Patekar of alleged harassment on the sets of a song shoot for the film Horn OK Pleasss. At an event held on Friday, when Salman Khan was asked to comment on the ongoing controversy, the actor said that he isn't aware about the issue.
Salman Khan was addressing a section of the media in a press conference when one of the reporters asked him to comment on Tanushree Dutta's allegations against Nana Patekar. On hearing the question, Salman said, "I am not aware of this my dear. Even for my understanding, let me know what is happening. Even for the earlier question, (since) I've been here, I don't know what he's talking about but I'm sure that the legal team will handle that, and for what you are saying, if, we will see what is going on, I am not aware of what you're talking."
Earlier, at the trailer launch event of Thugs Of Hindostan, a similar question was posed to Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan and both the superstars evaded to answer the question directly. While Amitabh Bachchan said, "My name is not Tanushree and my name is not Nana Patekar," Aamir Khan on the other hand said it would not be right for him to comment but "whenever something like this does happens it is really a sad thing".
.
Aamir also went on to say that it would be unfair on his part to comment on the controversy without knowing the 'veracity' or the 'details' of the matter. "I don't think I can comment on it. But whenever something like this does happens it is really a sad thing. Now whether such thing has happened or not, it is for people to investigate," he said.
