The trailer for Kangana Ranaut's aerial actioner Tejas will be released on the Air Force Day, i.e. October 8.

The teaser for Kangana Ranaut's next film Tejas was unveiled by the actress on Monday, October 2, on Gandhi Jayanti. The multiple National Award-winner plays the Indian Air Force officer Tejas Gill in the film and the teaser shows her getting prepared to take off 'for the love of our nation' with a rousing background score and her dialogues in the background.

Sharing the teaser, Kangana wrote on her social media handles, "Ready to take off for the love of our nation! Bharat ko chhedoge toh chhodenge nahi. Trailer out on Indian Air Force Day, 8th October." The teaser is being highly appreciated by her fans who replied in the comments section, "Queen is back", and "Goosebumps after watching the amazing teaser". Some netizens also called it "India's Top Gun", comparing it with the Tom Cruise-starrer Hollywood blockbuster.

On Monday itself, the Dhaakad actress had also shared the first official poster of the film with the caption, "Jab bhi baat desh ki aayegi, woh saari hadein paar kar jaayegi! (Whenever it comes to our nation, she will cross all the limits)". The poster also mentions the new release date of the film as October 27.

Earlier slated to hit cinemas on October 20, the makers have postponed Tejas by a week to avoid the clash with Tiger Shroff, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kriti Sanon-starrer dystopian action thriller Ganapath: A Hero Is Born, and the multi-starrer romantic comedy drama Yaariyan 2. Thalapathy Vijay's Leo, Nandamuri Balakrishna's Bhagavanth Kesari, and Shiva Rajkumar's Ghost will also release on October 19 in the Hindi dubbed languages so Tejas will not get lost in the multiple releases that weekend.

The upcoming aerial actioner is produced by Ronnie Screwala under his production house RSVP Movies and directed by Sarvesh Mewara in his directorial debut. The trailer for the film will be out on the Air Force Day, i.e. October 8.
