Netizens were divided on Kangana Ranaut's latest interview. While many lauded the actor for her bravery, some others also slammed her for calling Taapsee Pannu and Swara Bhasker 'B grade actresses'. After the two actresses reacting to the allegation, other celebrities like Nakuul Mehta, Vir Das and Vivek Agnihotri also reacted to the statement.
Nakuul, in a Twitter thread, questioned, "'The talent of making everything about oneself' can be a legit category at every Bollywood award. Is making someone's passing away your hashtag considered normal in 2020? Can one legitimately enjoy someone's artistic work whilst being in disagreement with their larger moral ground? How do we categorise artists as A / B / C grade? Basis their monetary worth or largesse of imagination/depth of work/ sincerity to craft?"
Meanwhile, Vir Das wrote, "For those obsessed with that stuff there may be A/B/C/D list celebrities. There are no B grade artists. Hey @taapsee you put the A in artist." Vivek Agnihotri, on the other hand, wrote, "Everyone is not a part of nepotism. Some are part of a Nexus."

Kangana Ranaut had called Taapsee Pannu and Swara Bhaskar 'B grade actresses' in the interview. She questioned how is that possible when they love Karan Johar, also stated that they are better actors than Alia Bhatt, so they don't deserve to be in that category.
