A film led by two heroes is always interesting to watch (read Sholay, Karan Arjun, Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai, RRR). A multi-starrer is tough to crack, but if done perfectly, then expect a tsunami at the box office.

Today we will discuss a film that brought two superstars after years. The buzz around the film was also positive. However, when the film was finally released, it went on to become a critical and commercial failure.

London Dreams, Salman Khan and Ajay starrer was a romantic drama, directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, and it also starred Asin, Rannvijay, with Aditya Roy Kapur making his Bollywood debut. The basic plot of the film, two talented musicians and their rivalry was loosely based on the Hollywood classic Amadeus.

London Dreams was originally made with Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan?

As per the media reports,  the film went on the floors with Rajkumar Santoshi as the director and Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan as the main leads. The film was initially titled  Rashque. However, the actors reportedly walked out of the project soon, and the film was shelved. Years later Vipul revived the film and made London Dreams.

Actors who rejected London Dreams

As per IMDb, after Shah Rukh, and Aamir stepped down, Santoshi approached Hrithik Roshan and Abhishek for the same film, but they also rejected the film. When Vipul was making the film, he reportedly signed Priyanka first. However, the actress later opted out of the film due to date problems.
