It is no revelation that things between Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone got more serious on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Goliyon Ki Raas Leela-Ram Leela.
The two were casually seeing other before the film, but it is only on the sets that they realised that they are madly in love.
Even though we know this, what we however don't know is how and when exactly Deepika and Ranveer fell head over heels in love with each other.
To shed light on this mystery a crew member, who worked on Ram Leela told the Huffington Post how and when the fire ignited between the couple.
According to the crew member, their passionate love story began with an unscripted kiss while shooting for the song Ang Laga De from the film.
While people on the sets had started noticing sparks between the two and thought they had started dating already, that kiss confirmed the speculation.
They were so into the kiss that even after the director said cut, the couple didn’t separate but kept on kissing each other!
“It was new love- euphoric and maddening,” the crew member told the media house.
The member also said that the couple was open about their relationship on the sets of the film.
“They’d call each other baby, eat together, and disappear into their vanity vans when not shooting,” added the crew member further.
Everyone else on the sets thought the romance would weaken once the film's shooting is over, but to their surprise, it was just the beginning of their love story!
After seeing them together in Bajirao Mastani, the crew member realized that something had changed between the duo and that this wasn’t just a regular fling, but much more
than that.
“When I saw them during Bajirao Mastani, that’s when I knew this is something that’s going to last,” the crew member went on to say.
Another source said that even during group outings and dinners, Deepika and Ranveer would have eyes only on each other.
He added, “It’s like nothing else matters. And they talk about everything non-stop, like, say, a married couple would.”
Another crew member told Huffington Post that during Bajirao Mastani, Ranveer would be on the sets even after his scenes were done to be a personal cheerleader for Deepika.
“He’s always giving her cues even when he doesn’t have to. It almost feels that for him, her career is more important than his. He was one of the first few people to tell her that she needs to go to Hollywood. He’s starry-eyed when she’s around,” the person said.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tied the knot as per Konkani traditions on November 14.
The two are again going to get married according to Sindhi rituals on November 15.
The two will then take off for a short honeymoon as Ranveer’s upcoming film Simmba alongside Sara Ali Khan is set to release on December 28.
