Only recently, after intense physical training and workout, Shraddha Kapoor started the shooting of the Saina Nehwal biopic.
Last month, before starting the shoot, the first look of Shraddha from the film impressed everyone as the actress looked similar to ace badminton player and Olympian Saina Nehwal.
But things have turn an unfortunate turn, with the shooting of the film stalled as the Stree actress has been diagnosed with dengue.
As per the Mumbai Mirror report, a source said, "Shraddha started feeling unwell a few days into the schedule. She stopped shooting on September 27 after a checkup revealed that she has dengue. She is expected to return to the film’s set in a couple of days. Meanwhile, Amole (Gupte) continues to shoot portions featuring the child actor who portrays the younger Saina, and other supporting artists."
The biographical sports drama has already faced many delays due to Shraddha Kapoor's hectic schedule, and now this has affected the schedule.
We hope that the actress gets well soon and resumes the shooting.
The film is directed by Stanley Ka Dabba and Hawa Hawai helmer Amole Gupte and is produced under the banner of T-Series.
Apart from this, Shraddha Kapoor will also be seen in Prabhas starrer trilingual film Saaho, which is made on the whopping budget of Rs 150 crore.
Directed by Sujith, the film also stars Neil Nitin Mukesh and Jackie Shroff in pivotal roles and is scheduled to release in 2019.
