Happy Birthday Sara Ali Khan! The upcoming Bollywood debutante turns 23 today, and she’s never been one to shy away from celebrating her birthday big each year. Usually, she lives it up every August 12 with friends and family, but this year will be something a little different. This time, August 12 is all work and no play for Sara as she spends her day rehearsing for Rohit Shetty’s Simmba.
According to a report in Hindustan Times, Sara will be spending her day intensely rehearsing for a song from the Ranveer Singh movie, which will be shot in the next couple of days. According to a source, “Sara, who otherwise rings in her birthday with friends and family, will spend the day rehearsing for a song from her upcoming film.” She will be learning the dance routine for the song in order to be ready come performance time.
“The song that Sara is rehearsing for is an important and big one. Although the makers asked her to take an off for her birthday, she has chosen to continue rehearsing,” said the source. Sara will be following a grueling routine for her practice, so that she doesn’t lose touch of the rhythm and can perform well. The actress is proving how much of a hard worker she is as far as her Bollywood debuts go. “Sara is really committed to her work, and there’s a lot of excitement [around her]. So, she is leaving no stone unturned for her first films,” said the source.
Rohit Shetty’s Simmba, starring Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan, releases in theatres on December 28, 2018. But before that, Sara will make her Bollywood debut in Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath, opposite Sushant Singh Rajput, which comes out on November 30, 2018.
