Salman Khan suprised his fans on Saturday, September 2, when he unveiled the new posters of his upcoming actioner Tiger 3. Salman and Katrina Kaif are seen wielding rifles in the latest poster released in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages. Wth this, the film's release date of Diwali 2023 has also been confirmed.
"Aa raha hoon! #Tiger3 on Diwali 2023. Celebrate #Tiger3 with #YRF50 only at a big screen near you. Releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. #KatrinaKaif | #ManeeshSharma | @yrf", wrote Salman along with sharing the posters on his social media handles on Instagram and X (previously known as Twitter).
The poster reads, "Following the events of Tiger Zinda Hai, War, and Pathaan", which means that the film will be an extension of the YRF Spy Universe and may also include elements of these three previous films. It has already been confirmed that Shah Rukh Khan will return in his Pathaan avatar in an explosive cameo in the actioner.
As per reports, Emraan Hashmi is playing the main villain in Tiger 3. Though the makers haven't confirmed it yet. It has also been reported that Tiger 3 is set in Pakistan. A source from Bollywood Hungama was quoted, "The story of Tiger 3 is devised in a way that leads to an epic face-off between India and Pakistan. Salman will be facing off Emraan Hashmi's ISI turn of Aatish in Tiger 3. It's going to be fireworks on the screen as two spy agents from India and Pakistan are ready for an epic blast this Diwali."
The upcoming spy thriller marks Maneesh Sharma's return to direction after seven years since his last directed film was the action-thiller Fan with Shah Rukh Khan in 2016. He has previously helmed three romantic comedies namely Band Baaja Baaraat, Ladies vs Ricky Bahl, and Shuddh Desi Romance.
