Contrary to popular perception, Varun and Shraddha aren’t paired opposite each other in the Remo D’souza directorial.

Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor’s second film together, tentatively titled 3, has already gone on floors. The team wrapped up their first schedule in Punjab with the Sui Dhaaga: Made In India actor, while the Stree actress and Nora Fatehi (who also features in the movie) will join the crew on February 10 in London. Contrary to popular perception, Varun and Shraddha aren’t paired opposite each other in the Remo D’souza directorial. In fact, they will be a part of two rival teams and the movie will feature several dance face-offs between their respective gangs. In order to maintain the first part’s continuity, the makers have decided to reprise an original from their earlier film ABCD 2 (2015). Says a source, “They have retained Bezubaan and given it a new touch. The dance styles along with the backdrop will be completely different. It made sense to incorporate this track as the same trio — Varun, Shraddha and Remo — with their ABCD gang is coming together for this project.”

Along with that, Bhushan Kumar of T-Series, who is backing the dance flick, has also decided to remake two other songs. “While one of them is a popular number from the ’90s, the other is a Guru Randhawa track,” adds the source. 3, which will be mounted on a lavish budget, is expected to be a huge dance film. “Shraddha, Nora and Varun, who will perform different styles including krumping, tutting, locking, popping and afro jazz, are undergoing training for the same,” says the source.
