On Tuesday, Varun Dhawan's driver Manoj Sahu passed away after suffering from cardiac arrest. According to the media reports, the driver was on the sets of the actor’s shoot when he suffered a heart attack.
It is being said that Manoj drove Varun to Mehboob studio in Mumbai earlier on Tuesday. He was very close to the actor’s family. After suffering from cardiac arrest, he was taken to Lilavati hospital. However, he couldn’t survive and was declared dead by the doctors. Varun was later seen doing all the formalities at the hospital.
Celebrity photographer Viral Bhayani shared the same news and wrote, “This is so shocking and unbelievable Manoj bhai who has been working with #varundhawan since very long passed away due to a heart attack. He was healthy and had no covid complications and this was so sudden as they were all shooting today at Mehboob studio. He was admitted to Lilavati Hospital which is like next door to Mehboob but he did not make it. He has two young daughters, our condolences to his family and the entire Varun Dhawan team. OM SHANTI.”
While sharing the pictures from the hospital, the page wrote, “#varundhawan today at Lilavati hospital with his entire team. Shocking day for everyone as Manoj Sahu who drove Varun's car passed away due to heart attack.”
Varun Fans have also reacted to the news. One of them wrote, “I can’t imagine how devastated he might be right now. Manoj drove him n Rohit to school when thy were babies. One of the oldest staff member. Too sincere . May his soul find peace.” The second one mentioned, “Oh bad....sad to hear...may God give courage to his family and may almighty rest him in peace.”
However, no official statement has been released by Varun Dhawan and his family.
