Video: Neena Gupta recalls how Priyanka Chopra inspired her to fly to Los Angeles for film audition

Neena Gupta revealed that she watched a video of Priyanka Chopra Jonas and got inspired by it.
On Priyanka Chopra Jonas' birthday, Neena Gupta posted a video on her Instagram page to wish the actor. In the video, she called PeeCee an inspiration and narrated an incident about the same. Neena spoke about the time when she got an offer to audition in Los Angeles and how a video of PeeCee motivated her to take the leap and push the limits to become an achiever in life.
Neena stated, "I recalled watching one of Priyanka Chopra’s videos where she was talking about having to attend two different functions in India and abroad around the same time. She attended both the functions after changing five flights, sleeping during the flight and prepping for the function on the flight. I remembered that and said, 'Yes, I can also do it'."
She added, "Although I didn’t get the film, but Priyanka inspires me a lot. So wish you a very happy birthday Priyanka."
Even Neena's daughter and fashion designer Masaba Gupta called Priyanka an inspiration. She said, "I love the grit, the unapologetic ambition & the incredible ways she finds to raise the bar...one that she set for herself. I not only love her,I am also constantly shocked by her..she has this way of making you jump out of bed & put yourself to good use, no matter how you’re feeling or in fact no matter what someone else is feeling about you. To say I am inspired by her would be an understatement because I follow her like no one else, I’m always trying to see life & decisions in the way she would have because there is such courage,hard-work & compassion in all that she does."
