Kamaal Rashid Khan aka KRK had apparently deleted his Twitter account a few days back. The self proclaimed film critic is infamous for bad mouthing films, abusing and trolling Bollywood actors with an "I-don't-give-a-damn" attitude.
A few days back, just before the release of Ajay Devgn's Golmaal Again and Aamir Khan's Secret Superstar, KRK's Twitter account got suspended. While speculations were rife whether it has an Ajay Devgn connect as last year, when Devgn's Diwali release Shivaay clashed with Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Muhskil, KRK bad mouthed Shivaay and later claimed that he was bribed by KJo for doing so. The rest as we say is history.
Another set of rumours suggested that it had something to do with Aamir Khan as KRK's account got suspended soon after he trolled Aamir's Secret Superstar. While the reason for KRK's Twitter account being suspended is still not confirmed, the self styled critic is mighty furious and has threatened to take legal action against Twitter for suspending his account without informing him.
A report on MissKyra quoted KRK as saying, "I'll drag Twitter to court for their arbitrary and prejudiced action against me," he said. "I've spent nearly Rs 500,000 (Dh30,000 approximately) over the past four years to amass six million followers on Twitter. I cannot let it all go waste. Twitter has to reimburse me and also compensate for the time I have spent on my account. If they fail to do that I will take legal action against them."
When his legal threats didn't seem to work, KRK has now issued a press release in which he has threatened to commit suicide if his Twitter account isn't restored. He also claims to be "depressed".
Here's what the release read:
"I request @Twitterindia and staff Ms. Mahima Kaul, Viral Jani and Mr. Taranjeet Singh to restore my account within 15 days. 1st they did charge me millions of rupees and then suddenly suspended my account. So am depressed because they have cheated me. If they won't restore my account, then I will commit suicide and all these people will be responsible for my death.
From depressed,
KRK "
