Watch: 'Ishq Mitha' from Sonam Kapoor's 'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga' peeks into unexpected love story

The trend of rebooting the 90s classic songs continues with the latest song from Sonam Kapoor starrer Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga. On Tuesday, the filmmakers unveiled the second song from the movie that is slated to release on February 1, 2019.

Enlisting the vocal talents of Navraj Hans and Harshdeep Kaur, the traditional Punjabi folksong is re-imagined by composer Rochak Kohli. We have previously heard one version of it in Sunny Deol's movie I Love NY, but the most popular rendition remains the one with the voice of Bally Sagoo and Malkit Singh. Any 90s kid cannot help but compare the song to the one that featured Malaika Arora and Jas Arora tapping a foot to the tune.

In this new video, we get a glimpse of the complicated love stories that are at the centre stage of this movie. We get the hint about the person who possibly has the keys to the heart of Sonam's character, but we also see someone who is willing to give the key to their heart to her. This is your sneak peek at the love triangle of the unexpected love story.

Then, of course, there's the infectious energy Anil Kapoor brings in with his dance performance. A mainstay folksong at most sangeet ceremonies, this revival has the potential of being part of this wedding season.
