In her debut year in Bollywood in 2003, Priyanka Chopra Jonas starred in two films - The Hero: Love Story of a Spy and Andaaz. Both the films showed her raw talent of acting and since then there was no turning back. Now, during an interaction with HT brunch, an incident has popped up from the sets of Andaaz wherein Priyanka was called out for not dancing properly during a sequence.
As per the weekly magazine, choreographer Raja Khan told PeeCee, "Just because you’re Miss World, don’t presume you can dance. Learn to do your job before you report for work!"
Recalling the incident, Priyanka narrated, "The episode was the critical foundation of my career. It taught me the difference between being an amateur and a professional and how essential it is to be prepared. From that experience onward, I’ve been prepped assiduously before going on to any set."
In her memoir, Unfinished, Priyanka also penned about how a filmmaker made her feel her during one of her first meetings with him. She penned, "He suggested I get a b**b job, fix my jaw and add a little more cushioning to my butt if I wanted to be an actress."
Currently, Priyanka is in London where she is shooting for Russo Brothers new show Citadel. Moreover, the actor along with her husband and singer Nick Jonas will be announcing this year's Oscar nominations on Monday.
Priyanka recently also shot for Matrix 4 and Text For You in Germany and London respectively.
