Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's daughter Sara Ali Khan is currently on the moon. The latest celeb kid to enter the industry after making her Bollywood debut with Kedarnath, Sara is making heads turn with not just her public appearances, but her performance in Kedarnath has also been much appreciated by the audience and the critics alike.
While her parents have been flooded with words of appreciation for her and congratulatory messages are still pouring in, Sara is already busy promoting her next release - Simmba. While interacting with the media for the same, Sara revealed that her dadi Sharmila Tagore too messaged her mom Amrita, after about 14 years.
Sara shared, "Dadi is extremely proud. She is getting a lot of messages from people and she messaged mom which was a big one for me. I think dadi messaging mom, after you know... life, that we have, that was really something. That's amazing. If as a character, you can bring audiences together and as an individual you can bring your family together for 30 seconds also, that's something."
Riding high on the success of Kedarnath, which has already crossed the Rs 50 crore mark at the box office, Sara is all set for the release of Simmba in which she stars opposite Ranveer Singh. The film, which has been directed by Rohit Shetty is a remake of south hit Temper and is slated to hit the theatres on December 28th.
