Who is Arbaaz Merchantt? The actor detained alongside Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan in Mumbai drugs case

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) detained Aryan Khan, the elder son of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, after busting a rave party on Saturday. 

Arbaaz Seth Merchantt, Aryan's close buddy, has been detained by the investigating agency.

Who is Arbaaz Merchantt?

Arbaaz Merchantt is apparently an actor who has been on good terms with star kids and actors of the industry. As far as his social media presence is concerned, Arbaaz's official Instagram account is private. On the photo-sharing app, he has roughly 30.5k followers.

Also, Arbaaz Seth Merchantt was rumoured to be dating Pooja Bedi's daughter, actress Alaya F a few years ago.

As far as the raid is concerned, Aryan Khan is being questioned by the NCB in connection with the rave party that was busted on Saturday. Sameer Wankhede, Zonal Director of NCB, said that Aryan Khan has not been booked on any charges and he has not been arrested so far.

Sources said that besides Aryan Khan, his friend Arbaaz Merchantt, Munmun Dhamecha, Nupur Sarika, Ismeet Singh, Mohak Jaswal, Vikrant Chhoker and Gomit Chopra are also being questioned by the NCB.

It is learnt that the NCB has seized Aryan Khan’s phone and they NCB officers are scanning the phone. 

"It’s a result of a painstaking investigation that went on for two weeks. We acted on specific intelligence inputs, involvement of some Bollywood links has come to light," said NCB chief SN Pradhan to ANI. 

Aryan is Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan's eldest son. The couple also have a daughter, Suhana Khan, and another son, AbRam.
