'Will work harder now': Shah Rukh Khan on Mahesh Babu calling Jawan his 'career's best film'

As Mahesh Babu dropped his review on Jawan, the leading star of Atlee's actioner replied to him and promised to work harder in films.

Shah Rukh Khan's action thriller Jawan has been regarded as a cinematic treat by his fans, and it has even impressed South superstar Mahesh Babu. After watching Atlee's latest directorial, Mahesh went gaga about the film and shared his views on Twitter. 

After watching the film, Mahesh wrote, "#Jawan... Blockbuster cinema… @Atlee_dir delivers king size entertainment with the King himself!! Comes up with his career's best film…The aura, charisma and screen presence of @iamsrk are unmatched… He’s on fire here!! Jawan will break his own records… how cool is that!! Stuff of the legends."

Shah Rukh Khan saw Mahesh's tweet and replied to him with a quote tweet. On Friday, Shah Rukh Khan retweeted Mahesh's tweet with a quote, and said, "Thank u so much. Everyone is so thrilled you liked it. Big love to you and family. Very encouraging to hear your kind words. Will keep working harder now to entertain. Love you my friend."

Released on September 7, Jawan broke several records, including the biggest Hindi opener by earning Rs 65.50 crores. Jawan also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi with Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Lehar Khan, and cameo appearance by Deepika Padukone. 

Jawan also collected Rs 5 crore each from its dubbed versions in Telugu and Tamil, taking the first-day net India collections to Rs 75 crore. Jawan also stars Nayanthara, and Vijay Sethupathi with Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, and Lehar Khan, and a cameo appearance by Deepika Padukone. 

Produced by Gauri Khan under Red Chillies Entertainment, Jawan could also surpass his previous film Pathaan's record (Rs 534 crore) of being the highest-earning Bollywood film in India. After Pathaan and Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan will next be seen in Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki, slated for a December 2023 release.
