After Akshay Kumar announced that he would postpone the release date of his film Bachchan Pandey, Twitterati started believing that the actor would clash with himself at the Box Office with Bachchan Pandey vs Bell Bottom

Akshay Kumar recently announced that his movie Bachchan Pandey has been postponed which led people to believe that the actor will now clash with himself at the Box Office with Bell Bottom release. However, taking to Twitter, Akshay clarified that will not be the case.

After Bachchan Pandey's release date was changed to January 22, 2021, Akshay Kumar also postponed the release of his other movie 'Bell Bottom'. The film is now slated for April 2, 2021 release. Confirming the news, Akshay Kumar tweeted, "I know there are enough memes out there about me clashing with myself one day but 22nd January, 2021 is not that day. #BellBottom will now release on 2nd April, 2021!"

Akshay had changed the release date of Bachchan Pandey on Aamir Khan's request. Aamir did not wish that Bachchan Pandey and his movie 'Laal Singh Chadha' deserved to clash at the Box Office and hamper the Box Office. Thus, in a mutual decision, Akshay announced that Bachchan Pandey and Bell Bottom's release dates have now changed.

Khiladi Kumar had to face a similar situation with his upcoming release 'Sooryavanshi' too. The movie was slated for Eid 2020 release. However, after Salman Khan announced that he would like to release his movie Radhe Your Most Wanted Bhai on Eid, Akshay and Rohit decided to change the release date of their film to March 27, 2020.
