Wrangle between Govinda & Krushna Abhishek's family turns murkier

A lot has already been said about the feud between actor Govinda and his nephew, actor-comedian Krushna Abhishek, which happened two years ago. But what is appaling is that things have gone only down hill from there, so much so,, that the two actors and their respective families are not on talking terms. 

Both the families have in fact accepted that things can't be mended and shall remain the way they are. 

But guess what? The dispute is getting turbid, with Govinda's wife Sunita Ahuja and Krushna, stepping out and speaking about it in the media. 

In an interview with Bombay Times, both Sunita and Krushna spoke about how things had got sour and there was no scope of reconcilation. 

Sunita expressed how agitated she is with Krushna speaking ill about them behind their back, when actually he should be thankful since Krushna has always cashed in on the fame of being Govinda's nephew. Sunita also went on to say that for a lot of years Krushna stayed with them at their residence, and they took care of him lovingly. 

She said, “Krushna’s claim to fame has always been the fact that he is Govinda’s bhanja. He has milked that enough. He has lived with us for years and we have always loved him. It’s a shame that they talk rubbish about us behind our back.”

Sunita, this time made it clear that they have broken all ties with Krushna and his wife Kashmera Shah. 

“We have distanced ourselves from them and it won’t change ever,” she added. 

When asked why they were not present at Krushna’s twins’ birthday party, Sunita said that they were in London at that time and anyway were not invited. 

Krushna, on the other hand, said that he did invite Govinda and his family, but they were in London. 

He, as a matter of fact, was hurt when Govinda did not come to see one of his twins when he was hospitalised. 

Another instance that got Sunita upset was on a post that Kashmera shared online where she called them ‘People who dance for money.’ 

Krushna claims that the post was not for Govinda and his wife, but was for his sister Arti. 

“I tried to explain to her that it wasn’t about them,” he said.

“Govinda is a superstar. I told Kashmera to delete the post and apologise to mami even though it wasn’t meant for her. But they just wouldn’t budge. Thereafter, I realised that there was no point trying to patch up,” he added.

Krushna also denied the claims stating that he has gained recognition because of Govinda. He asserted that Govinda has neither launched him nor has he ever performed on behalf of him. 

However, Krushna maintained that on the personal front, his Chi Chi Mama has always been there for him. 

He even accepted that he had stayed at his mama-mami's house for six years and they really loved and respected each other.

Krushna, in an explicit manner even said that Sunita Ahuja has influenced the entire family to such an extent that even Govinda's kids refuse to talk to him. 

Maintaining that nothing can change what Govinda and his family means to him, the comedian has given up on the matter and has realised that nothing can be changed.
