WTC Final: Anushka Sharma gives sneak peek of Virat Kohli led India vs NZ toss from 'bedroom balcony'

Anushka is currently in England, with her daughter Vamika Kohli and Virat Kohli for the WTC final that is scheduled to go on until Tuesday (June 22).

After rain washed away the opening day of the inaugural World Test Championship (WTC) final between India and New Zealand at the Hampshire Bowl on Friday (June 18), Saturday kickstarted with a promising weather. As the toss took between the two teams took place, Indian captain Virat Kohli’s wife and actor Anushka Sharma shared a special insight from the event.

Taking to Instagram, Anushka Sharma shared a story of the Hampshire Bowl field where she can be seen enjoying the toss from the balcony of her hotel room. “Toss from bedroom balcony today,” she captioned the post with a smily and cricket bat emoji.

The toss was won by New Zealand and captain Kane Williamson opted to bowl first in Southampton. On Friday, as rains spoiled the day, BCCI had tweeted, "Unfortunately there will be no play in the first session on Day 1 of the ICC World Test Championship final. #WTC21.”

For the unversed, Anushka is currently in England, with her daughter Vamika Kohli. The mother-daughter duo is there with Virat Kohli for the WTC final that is scheduled to go on until Tuesday, with Wednesday kept as a reserve day. 

The ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ actor seems to be having a gala time in England. On Thursday (June 17) night, Anushka had shared a photo of her meal on Instagram stories while she watched a Test cricket game. She had captioned it saying, "Tea and scones on a rainy English summer day.”

Virat and Anushka arrived in Southampton earlier this month with their daughter Vamika. The actor had shared a photo on Instagram, giving fans a glimpse of the Ageas Bowl behind her as well.
