Ford launches safe, smart and sophisticated new Figo hatchback

Ford has introduced the safe, smart and sophisticated new Figo hatchback. The new Figo will be offered with a 1.2-litre petrol, a 1.5-litre petrol or a 1.5-litre diesel unit. A PowerShift dual clutch automatic gearbox is available with the top end, 1.5 petrol variant- Zeegnition

The new-look Figo is built on the same platform as the recently launched Figo Aspire compact sedan sans the boot extension. The fuel efficiency figures are said to be 18.16kmpl for the petrol and 25.83kmpl for the diesel- Zeegnition

With regard to power output, the new Figo’s 1.2 petrol unit makes 88PS whereas the diesel makes 100PS. The automatic 1.5 petrol variant is the most powerful of the lot and churns out 112PS of power.
