5 fake Passport Seva lookalike apps you should be aware of

Foreign minister Sushma Swaraj recently had launched Passport Seva app. The app is available on Android and on iOs system. The Passport Seva app is an extention of the new service that was launched on the occassion of the Sixth Passport Seva Divas, a person can now choose the Regional Passport Office (RPO) and the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) or Post Office Passport Seva Kendra (POPSK) for submitting the application.

With the launch of the 'mPassport Seva App', a person would not require access to a computer and printer to apply for a passport. Swaraj, while speaking at the launch of the initiatives, said there had been "revolutionary" changes in the process for applying for a passport.There were 77 Passport Seva Kendras made available in 48 years, while 231 more were added in the last 48 months, she said. 

However, there are few fake passport seva apps lookalikes available on Google Play store which you should be aware of.

1. Online passport service or seva

This app at first will look like a real one but if you check carefully you will realize, it is not the official app. The app, however, is designed to help out the citizens with passport application. 

2. Aadhaar PAN PNR Passport Seva

This app claims to help you out with the Aadhaar enrollment and PAN card application but the app is not the official government app. The app has been developed by 7 valley. 

3. Passport Seva online

Developed by Quantum Soluse, the app in design looks like the official one but it is not. Moreover, the app does not provide any information over safety of users' data. 

4. Passport service E-Seva

The app has been designed by galaxy and is prone to virus. 

5. Passport Seva Check

On the basis of passport seva app, the app helps out with the queries related to passport but users would be advised to avoid the same.
