ABN Amro opens broking services

The company will be providing its investors convenience of a three-in-one account, which includes an integrated platform for trading and operations of demat as well as savings account.

MUMBAI: ABN Amro Bank on Wednesday launched its retail broking services, becoming the first international bank to offer these services in the Indian market. ABN Amro Broking, formed under the aegis of ABN Amro Asia Equities (India) will open 15 branches across the country.

The company will be providing its investors convenience of a three-in-one account, which includes an integrated platform for trading and operations of demat as well as savings account, it said.

“We are delighted to be the first international bank to bring its global investment expertise to the domestic retail brokerage market in India,” ABN Amro Asia CEO Jeroen Drost told reporters.
