Air India to launch direct Ahmedabad-Frankfurt service

Air India, will launch a direct air service between Ahmedabad and Frankfurt, from June 1

National air-carrier, Air India, will launch a direct air service between Ahmedabad and its new international hub, Frankfurt, from June 1.
    
The airline would also connect the city with London via Mumbai from June 1, a company release said here today.

The Ahmedabad-Frankfurt service would provide a convenient connection to New York and Chicago, the release said, adding, "the new flight will be operated with a Boeing 747-400 aircraft."

The Frankfurt-bound Air India flight, AI-121, will depart from Ahmedabad at 2.05 am and arrive Frankfurt at 6.50 am. The return flight, AI-120, will take-off from Frankfurt at 11.10 am and arrive Ahmedabad at 10.25 pm, the release said.

Air India said its Mumbai-Ahmedabad-Mumbai-London flight will depart from Ahmedabad at 9.45 pm and arrive at Mumbai Airport at 10.45 pm. The flight will  take-off from Mumbai at 2.20 am and arrive London at 7.30 am.

The return flight will depart from London at 9.45 am and land at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Airport at 11.35 pm. The same flight will take off for Ahmedabad at 1.05 am and arrive there at 2.05 am.
