NEW DELHI: Global aviation leader Boeing said it is strengthening its presence in India through new product offerings in both defence and commercial aircraft.
"Boeing is actively developing important, integrated relationships with Indian industry to strengthen its presence across both defence and commercial sectors," Boeing Chairman and CEO Jim McNerney said.
Boeing received the Global Vision Award from the US-India Business Council in Washington on Wednesday.
McNerney said the award was a "testament" to the expanding partnership between India and Boeing.
"We are committed to responding to India's needs and contributing to its growing success through our product offerings, services, and industrial and academic partnership," he said.
Boeing, which is present in the country for the last 60 years, expanded its enterprise team in India earlier this year and is already developing its relationship with the government and the industry, he said.
