Escorts receives NABH accreditation

Fortis Healthcare group company Escort Heart Institute and Research Centre on Friday received NABH accreditions for quality medical service and patient care.

NEW DELHI: Fortis Healthcare group company Escort Heart Institute and Research Centre on Friday received NABH accreditions for quality medical service and patient care.
    
National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers (NABH) is a constituent autonomous board of the Quality Council of India which was set up with a view to establish and operate accreditation programme for healthcare delivery organisations.
    
Escorts Heart Institute become the third hospital under the Fortis Healthcare to get the certification from NABH for its patient care.
    
"The NABH accreditation marks a milestone in our endeavour to take Escort Heart Institute from excellence to pre-eminence and reaffirms our ability to deliver world-class integrated healthcare services to our patients," Escorts Managing Director Shivinder Mohan Singh said.
    
Escorts was acquired by Fortis in 2005  and it has hospitals in Jaipur, Amritsar, Raipur and Faridabad.
