On MCX, silver December futures also slipped by Rs 565 (1 per cent) i.e., Rs 59,427 per kg. Talking about the international market, the price of silver fell by 0.3%, $ 22.33 an ounce.
What do experts say?
As per experts, gold prices may fall further in the coming days. Gold rates in the domestic market are close to the lowest of 6 months. In August last year, gold had set a record-high price i.e., Rs 56,200 per 10 gram.
According to Kotak Securities, there may be a change in the position of gold due to the trend in the US dollar and equity markets. Also, Investors are analysing Fed’s monetary policy and the economic situation in China.
Saw decline last week
Notably, there was a big fall in the prices of gold in the bullion market on Friday last week. Gold of 99.9 % had fallen by Rs 1,130 (to Rs 45,207 per 10 grams), in Delhi's bullion market.
