India's state-run Hindustan Petroleum Corp Ltd will shut its diesel hydro desulphurisation unit at its Vizag refinery for maintenance in two or three days, its head of refineries, K Murli said.

The unit, which processes 2.2 million tonnes a year, will be shut for about a month and will produce cleaner diesel when it resumes operation, Murli said on the sidelines of a conference in New Delhi on Monday.
