ICICI Bank expects robust fee income growth

ICICI Bank may report an increase in its fee income in coming months, a top official at the bank said on Thursday. The country's largest private sector lender also expects robust growth in housing and auto loans in the March-quarter, said Chanda Kochhar, managing director and chief executive officer of ICICI Bank. The bank said earlier on Thursday that October-December net profit fell to Rs11.01 billion ($239 million) from Rs12.72 billion a year earlier. A Reuters poll of analysts had forecast net profit of Rs10.55 billion.
