MUMBAI: ICICI Prudential Life Insurance announced on Tuesday the launch of its SMS Helpline service which would enable its policy-holders to receive instant updates on their policies.
ICICI Pru Life's policy-holders can know the policy status, due date for premium payment, policy NAV and portfolio fund value by sending an SMS, a company statement said.
Policy-holders can get these details by typing PST followed by space followed by their policy number and sending an SMS to 56767.
Commenting on the initiative, the company's Executive Vice-President, Anita Pai, said: "in tune with our philosophy of providing innovative products and services for customer convenience, we have now launched the SMS Helpline...now policy-holders can avail of the desired information anytime anywhere, no matter where they might be."
Policy-holders will have register their mobile numbers with the company to avail of the SMS Helpline service.
To do so, they can type REG followed by space followed by their 8-digit policy number followed by their date of birth (DOB) in the prescribed format and send the SMS to 56767, the company said.
