India's most valuable brand at Rs 238390 crore revealed, not run by Mukesh Ambani, Adani

Narayana Murthy's Infosys and HDFC Group have got second and third place, respectively.

Mukesh Ambani led Reliance Industries is India's most valued firm by market capitalisation. The company of India's richest man has a market of Rs 21,18,951.20 crore as of June 28. Despite this, it is not India's most valuable brand. The title has won by Ratan Tata's Tata Group, which retained its position as India's most valuable brand with an impressive 9 per cent growth in brand value.

According to the latest report of brand valuation consultancy 'Brand Finance', Tata Group has a brand value of USD 28.6 billion (Rs 238390 crore). The group is active in diverse business sectors including automobile. It is the first Indian brand which is getting close to achieving a brand valuation of USD 30 billion.

Moreover, Narayana Murthy's Infosys and HDFC Group have got second and third place respectively in the Brand Finance report. The IT giant's brand value is estimated at USD 14.2 billion despite the slowdown in the global IT services sector. HDFC Group has become the third-largest Indian brand with a valuation of USD 10.4 billion.

As per the Brand Finance India 100 2024 report, Tata Group’s Taj hotel brand has been ranked as the strongest Indian brand. The telecom sector achieves 61% growth in brand value, followed by Banking (26%) and Mining, Iron and Steel sectors recording 16% average growth.
