NEW DELHI: Jazeera Airways, the first private airline of the Gulf region, on Monday offered one-way tickets to Kuwait from three Indian cities at a rock bottom Rs 850 plus taxes for a limited period.

The offer, which is part of celebrations to mark the carrier's first anniversary, can be availed of only for three days from Monday till November 2 and good for travel between November 12 and March 24 next year.

The offer is only valid for travel to Kuwait from Delhi, Mumbai and Kochi and not on return flights.

The taxes on the Kuwait sector are over 75 USD or about Rs 3,600. Customers can book their tickets through travel agents or directly on www.jazeeraairways.com.

Jazeera, which operates a fleet of just four new Airbus A-320s, claims to have emerged as the fastest growing airline that operates to 13 global destinations and carried 5,00,000 passengers within a year of its launch.

Even though this is a limited one-time offer, the scale of its validity for travel is likely to give other competing airlines on the India-Gulf sector a run for their money.

Public sector Indian and Air-India are the only Indian airlines currently allowed to operate on the Gulf sectors.
