Abhishek Khaitan is a third-generation entrepreneur who leads Radico Khaitan Limited, a liquor-making company. He is the son of liquor baron Lalit Khaitan, chairman of Radico Khaitan. The man became India's latest billionaire at 80 last year. Currently, he has a real-time net worth of Rs 9180 crore as of July 8, Forbes reported.

Abhishek is the brain behind Radico’s foray into the branded business. He is the Managing Director of Radico Khaitan. The company has a range of brands including 8PM whisky, Contessa rum and Magic Moments vodka. It has a market cap of Rs 21923 crore. The Delhi-based company started off as a bottler before expanding into making bulk alcohol and eventually branded spirits.

Abhishek started his career in 1997 by spearheading the marketing division at the company. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from BMS College of Engineering, Bangalore. He is also a Harvard alumnus who completed a Managerial Finance & Accounting course from the university.

The first brand that he launched was 8PM Whisky. It became a success and sold one million cases in the first year itself and was featured in the Limca Book of World Records. As the company's managing director with over two decades of industry experience, he has launched over 15 successful brands. 

Abhishek was able to see Vodka as the next emerging drink and was quick to launch Magic Moments Vodka. Other famous brands of the company are Morpheus Premium Brandy, Rampur Indian Single Malt Whisky and Jaisalmer Indian Craft Gin.
