There were difficulties along the way. At first, 75 investors rejected Rapido because they were worried about a cutthroat industry controlled by behemoths like Ola and Uber. Relentlessly, Pavan continued. His unwavering perseverance persisted even after the launch of Rapido did not produce the desired outcomes.

In 2016, Pavan Munjal, the Chairman and Managing Director of Hero MotoCorp, became Rapido's first investor, demonstrating the fruit of Pavan's perseverance. With more investors supporting the company and its presence growing to over 100 cities, this critical moment signalled a turning point for Rapido. Notably, Rapido boasts 7 lakh users, 50,000 captains, and has been valued at $825 million or or more than Rs 6700 crore, according to Tracxn. More than 50 million users have downloaded the company's app, and strategic investments from industry leaders like Swiggy have propelled Rapido's growth.
