Kiran Kumar Grandhi is the managing director and CEO of GMR Airports Infrastructure Limited. He is also the corporate chairman of GMR Group and oversees Group Finance and Corporate Strategy, Planning and Development.

He is the younger son of Indian billionaire businessman GM Rao, who is the chairman of GMR Group. Rao is India's richest man in the logistics sector. He has a real-time net worth of USD 1.7 billion as of August 19, 2023. This is around Rs 14,130 crore.

Grandhi holds a bachelor's in commerce and has been on the Company’s Board since 1999. GMR Airports has a market capitalisation of Rs 32,202 crore as of August 18, 2023. The share price of the company was Rs 53.10 on Friday. The company, under GMR Group, operated airports at Hyderabad and Delhi as well as the Mactan Cebu International Airport in the Philippines. 

He has been instrumental in winning several successful infrastructure bids for the Group under Public Private Partnership route with the Central and State Governments in sectors like Airports, Highways, etc. He led the GMR Group’s successful bids for Hyderabad, Delhi, Istanbul, Male Airports as well as the construction efforts for completion of Terminal 3 of Delhi Airport in a record time.

Grandhi took over as the Corporate Chairman of GMR Group in 2013 and since then he has led the fund-raising efforts for the group. Grandhi is married to Ragini Kiran Grandhi, who is a Director of GMR Varalakshmi Foundation. The duo has two sons - Master GM Ruchir and Master GM Riddhiman.
