While many of us were engrossed in social media and hanging out with friends during our adolescence, Nadia Chauhan chose a different route and, at the age of 17, joined her family's business. Her incredible journey of turning her family's business into a vast empire with an annual revenue of Rs 8500 crore began with this momentous decision.

Parle Agro is a renowned Indian food and beverage company that was founded in 1985 by Prakash Chauhan. When Nadia, the daughter of Prakash Chauhan, joined the company in 2003, its revenue was a meagre Rs 300 crore. Recognizing that the company was overly reliant on a single product, Frooti, Nadia decided to diversify its product portfolio. Her introduction of Appy Fizz in 2005 proved to be a success, paving the way for the launch of several other products.

Nadia's innovative spirit led to the introduction of India's first packaged Nimboo Pani. Alongside her sister, she made substantial investments in new manufacturing units and spearheaded the revival of Frooti in 2015, enlisting Shah Rukh Khan as its brand ambassador. Under her leadership, the company's packaged drinking water, Bailey, grew into a Rs 1000 crore business. Her ambitious vision for the future includes driving the company's brand value to Rs 10,000 crore by 2030 and expanding its distribution to reach 4 million outlets. Notably, she has also taken steps to introduce affordable offerings like the Rs 5 pack of Frooti to attract consumers.

Nadia currently holds the positions of Chief Marketing Officer and Joint Managing Director at Parle Agro. Her strategic acumen has played an instrumental role in the company's significant turnaround, with the company achieving a turnover of Rs 4200 crore in 2017 and a staggering Rs 8500 crore in 2023.
