The State Bank of India has made many facilities online for its customers. If you lose your SBI debit card, you now block the card and even book a replacement card online on its website or through thr SBI YONO app.
But what after you get your new SBI Debit card? You will be required to generate a PIN. SBI has now come with easy steps that you can follow to generate a PIN for your SBI debit card.
You can generate your SBI debit card PIN or Green Pin via the toll-free Interactive voice response (IVR) system. SBI customers can follow these steps to generate their SBI Debit card PIN:
Step 1- Call on 1800 112 211 or 1800 425 3800.
Step 2- Now press ‘2’ for ATM or Debit card related services.
Step 3- Now press ‘1’ for PIN generation. If you’re calling from your registered mobile number then pressing ‘1’ is mandatory.
Step 4- If you’re not calling from your registered mobile number, then press ‘2’ to speak to an agent.
Step 5- Now enter the last five digits of the ATM card to generate a Green PIN.
Step 6- Now press ‘1’ to confirm the last five digits.
Step 7- Now you need to press ‘2’ to re-enter the last five digits of the ATM card.
Step 8- Now you will be required to enter the last five digits of your account number.
Step 9- After that, press ‘1’ to confirm the last 5 digits. Subsequently, press 2 to re-enter the last five digits of account number.
Step 10- In the next step you will be required to enter your year of birth.
Step 11- Your SBI debit card PIN will now be generated successfully. The Green PIN will be associated to your registered mobile number.
Step 12- Now visit any SBI ATM and change the pIN sent on the registered mobile number within 24 hours.
