The OneAsia golf tour has signed a contract with ESPN-STAR Sports television network to broadcast its tournaments across Asia for the next five years.                                            OneAsia was launched last year, to fierce opposition from the existing Asian Tour, with the aim of providing an elite platform for the top players in the Asia-Pacific region.                                            Eleven events are confirmed for 2010 in China, Australia, South Korea and Thailand with the $1 million Chengdu Open launching the season at the start of April.                                            "The OneAsia series comprises some of the biggest golf tournaments across the region, and we're pleased to showcase this new premium golf series across Asia," Craig Dobbs of ESPN STAR Sports said in a news release.                                            ESPN STAR Sports, which broadcasts to a cumulative audience of 300 million over 18 networks across Asia, is a joint venture between Walt Disney Co and News Corporation Limited.
